On December 31st, we open our doors to a weekend filled with indulgence, exquisite flavours and complete relaxation. On 31 December, your room will be ready from 3:00 PM. We warmly welcome you to check in at the castle foyer.

After your stay with us, check-out is at 11:00 AM on 2 January.

 

NEW YEAR’S EVE – 31 DECEMBER

4:00 PM We ease into the celebrations with a sparkling wine tasting hosted by our sommeliers on the second floor of the castle. In the beautiful Blooming Tree room, you will be guided through three carefully selected sparkling wines, perfectly paired with accompanying delicacies.

6:00 PM For those who wish to, we will show the traditional Danish New Year’s address, Kongens Nytårstale, on the big screen.

7:30 PM The evening reaches its grand finale at Hill House Restaurant! We begin with a glass of champagne and three delicious canapés. This is followed by a five-course dinner, with a vegetarian alternative available. Each course is accompanied by a specially curated drinks pairing, included in the experience for a perfectly balanced culinary journey.

Around 10:30 PM We head upstairs to the cosy atmosphere of Blooming Tree, where freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked Madeleines are served to the sound of live music.

Midnight – Happy New Year! As the clock strikes twelve, we raise our glasses of champagne and enjoy traditional Danish kransekage. The doors to the castle terrace open, revealing a magical view across the sparkling Øresund.

 

1:00 AM We round off the celebrations at Hill House, before the party continues at Playground Bar in Sugar Club, where our DJ turns up the tempo and keeps the dance floor going.

Start the first day of the year with a long, lavish breakfast at Hill House.

Make New Year’s Day all about relaxation. Sink into three warm pools, warm up in the sauna and enjoy great music and refreshing drinks from the open bars.

The Mediterranean Feast is served at Sugar Club – a three-course sharing menu filled with vibrant, sun-kissed flavours from the southern Mediterranean. Your exact seating time will be allocated upon booking.
